"St. Nick's" opened on 11/07/1896 as an ice hockey and ice-skating rink. It was located at 69 West 66th Street, on the northeast corner of 66th Street and Columbus Avenue.

The Johnston Brothers, long-time boxing promoters at the venue, also offered wrestlintg cards partnering with Jack Curley and Toots Mondt for wrestling cards, which took place almost on a weekly basis between 1930s and 1950.

The building was closed in 1962 (the last recorded wrestling card on this website took place on 12/28/1961) and was demolished in the 1980s the expansion of ABC television offices.
