The Manhattan Center is located on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues, near Madison Square Garden and houses Grand Ballroom and the Hammerstein Ballroom are housed.

It was built in 1906 as Manhattan Opera House. Samuel Rachmann promoted international tournaments in this building between 1915 and 1916.

WWF aired Monday Night Raw from the Hammerstein Ballroom on 01/11/1993 and taped/aired several following episodes. It later became the Manhattan home for Extreme Championship Wrestling, which promoted the cards at the Hammerstein in 2000 and 2001 as well as the "ECW One Night Stand" PPV cards by WWE.

Ring Of Honor promoted the events in the building on a regular basis between 2007 and 2012 and notably featured the true legends from Japan: Kenta Kobashi in 10/2005 and Mitsuharu Misawa in 12/2007.
